Title
De voorpost: nationaal strijdblad
Description
*De voorpost* was a Flemish-leaning newspaper that served as the organ of the Vlaamse Concentratie. This party, later the Volksunie, was founded by Hector De Bruyne and Daniël Merlevede. It was the first Flemish-nationalist party founded after WWII. *De voorpost* published the party's nationalist ideals and also wrote extensively about the repression. The party was against this, believing that when collaborators were punished, pro-Flemish people were targeted whether they were traitors to the country or not. Moreover, the Greater Netherlands movement was also discussed in *De voorpost*, where this movement worked for the unification of the Low Countries into one state.
